  • 5 roma tomatoes, de-seeded and diced
  • 1/2 cup of red onion, finely diced
  • 1/4 cup of fresh cilantro, chopped
  • 1 jalapeno, de-seeded and diced
  • Juice of 1 lime
  • 1 garlic clove, minced
  • Salt to season, to taste

Instructions

  1. Combine Ingredients: In a mixing bowl, add the diced roma tomatoes, finely diced red onion, de-seeded and diced jalapeño, minced garlic clove, chopped fresh cilantro, and freshly squeezed lime juice. Toss all the ingredients together until well mixed.
  2. Season and Rest: Season the salsa with salt to your taste. For the best flavor, let the pico de gallo sit for at least one hour to allow the ingredients to meld together. You can serve it immediately, but resting enhances the taste.
