Instructions

  2. Slice the chicken: Once grilled, let the chicken rest for a few minutes. Then slice the fillets into thin strips to make them easy to fill inside the pitas.
  3. Warm the pitas: Heat a pan over medium heat and warm each pita for about 30 seconds to 1 minute on each side. This makes them more pliable and enhances their flavor.
  4. Prepare the pitas: Open each warmed pita pocket and spread about 2 tablespoons of tzatziki sauce evenly inside to add creaminess and flavor.
  5. Fill the pitas: Layer the shredded lettuce, diced tomato, cucumber slices, and thinly sliced onion inside each pita. Top with the grilled chicken strips.
