  • Yield: 12 deviled egg halves (6 servings) 1x
  • Diet: Low Carb

Description

These Bloody Mary Deviled Eggs are a zesty and flavorful twist on the classic deviled eggs, combining all the spicy, tangy flavors of a Bloody Mary cocktail with creamy deviled egg filling. Perfect as a low-carb appetizer for game day or party gatherings, they feature a seasoned rim and crispy bacon garnish for an irresistible bite.

Ingredients

Scale

Eggs and Filling

  • 6 Eggs
  • 3 Tbsp Mayonnaise
  • 1 Tsp Horseradish
  • 1 Tbsp Hot Sauce
  • 2 Tbsp Tomato Juice
  • 1/2 Tsp Salt

Seasoning and Garnish

  • 2 Tbsp Bloody Mary Rim Seasoning
  • 12 Celery Leaves
  • 3 Slices Bacon

Instructions

  1. Boil the Eggs: Boil 6 eggs for 12 minutes until hard-boiled. Once cooked, immediately transfer them to a bowl of ice water and stir to cool completely. Meanwhile, fry the bacon slices in a pan until crispy and set aside to drain.
  2. Peel and Slice: Peel the cooled eggs carefully and slice each in half lengthwise. Remove the yolks from the whites, placing the yolks into a separate mixing bowl.
  3. Prepare the Yolk Filling: To the bowl of egg yolks, add mayonnaise, horseradish, tomato juice, hot sauce, and salt. Mix thoroughly until smooth and creamy. Using a food processor can simplify achieving a silky texture.
  4. Season the Egg Whites: Pour the Bloody Mary seasoning into a small shallow bowl. Dip the cut side of each egg white half into the seasoning, coating them well, then arrange them on a serving plate with the spiced side facing up.
  5. Pipe the Filling: Fill a piping bag or a ziplock bag with the egg yolk mixture. Pipe the filling evenly into the hollows of the seasoned egg white halves.
  6. Garnish and Serve: Slice the crispy bacon into 12 pieces. Top each deviled egg with a bacon piece and a celery leaf for a fresh, crunchy garnish. Keep refrigerated until serving.
