- 1 ⅔ cups (280 g) Andes Creme De Menthe baking chips
- 3 cups (204 g) powdered milk
- 1 ⅓ cups (167 g) confectioners’ sugar
- 1 cup (200 g) granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon kosher salt
For Serving
- Hot milk or hot water
Instructions
- Break the baking chips. Add the Andes Creme De Menthe baking chips to the bowl of a food processor and process until the chips are broken into small, even pieces.
- Combine dry ingredients. Add the powdered milk, confectioners’ sugar, granulated sugar, and kosher salt to the food processor with the chopped baking chips. Pulse or process until everything is evenly combined into a uniform powder.
- Store the mix. Transfer the hot cocoa mix to an airtight container and store at room temperature for up to 3 months.
- Heat the liquid. When ready to serve, warm 1 cup of milk or water in a small saucepan on the stovetop or microwave until hot but not boiling.
- Mix the hot cocoa. Stir in ¼ cup of the hot cocoa mix into the warmed milk or water until fully dissolved and smooth.
- Serve immediately. Enjoy your rich and minty Andes Hot Cocoa fresh and warm.
Notes
- Use whole milk for a creamier, richer hot cocoa experience or water if you prefer a lighter drink.
- You can adjust the amount of hot cocoa mix added to your mug based on desired sweetness and flavor intensity.
- Store the mix in a cool, dry place to maintain freshness.
- Mix vigorously to ensure the cocoa mix dissolves fully without lumps.
- For a dairy-free option, use a powdered non-dairy milk instead of powdered milk and hot water or plant-based milk for serving.
