Instructions

  1. Preheat the Air Fryer: Preheat your air fryer to 360°F (182°C) to ensure even cooking and crispy texture.
  2. Prepare the Potatoes: Wash and scrub the russet potatoes thoroughly to remove any dirt. Pat them dry.
  3. Make Hasselback Slices: Using a very sharp knife, make thin slices along each potato, being careful to leave about half an inch uncut at the bottom so the potato holds together.
  4. Season the Potatoes: Sprinkle salt and pepper evenly all over the sliced potatoes to season them before adding the butter mixture.
  5. Mix the Butter Sauce: In a small bowl, combine the melted butter with minced garlic, smoked paprika, fresh parsley, dried Italian herbs, and dried parsley. Stir well to blend all the flavors.
  6. Apply the Butter Mixture: Arrange the sliced potatoes in the bottom of the air fryer basket. Generously brush the tops and inside the slices with the prepared butter mixture.
