Ingredients
Scale
Ingredients
- 1 cup+ cubed watermelon (rind removed, chopped)
- 1 cup+ coconut water
Instructions
- Prepare Watermelon: Cut off the rind of your watermelon and chop the flesh into cubes, ensuring there are no seeds or rind pieces mixed in.
- Fill Container: Place the diced watermelon into a Ninja Creami pint container, filling it up to the max fill line. Then pour coconut water into the container, up to the same max fill line, ensuring the mixture is even within the container.
- Freeze Mixture: Secure the lid tightly on the pint container and place it on a level surface in the freezer. Freeze the contents for 12 to 24 hours until completely solid.
- Prepare for Spinning: When ready to make sorbet, remove the container from the freezer. Microwave for about 30 seconds or run the outer container under warm water for a few minutes to slightly soften the mixture for processing.
- Spin in Ninja Creami: Insert the pint into the Ninja Creami machine and select the sorbet setting to spin and create a creamy sorbet texture. Alternatively, the lite ice cream setting may be used with similar results.
- Re-spin if Needed: If the sorbet texture is dry or chunky after the first spin, simply re-spin using the same sorbet setting until smooth and creamy to your liking.
Notes
- If you don’t finish the sorbet in one sitting, level off the top, re-freeze, and spin again following the same instructions before serving.
